A major coconut water brand was interested in expanding their agricultural operations, but the conditions in which the Nam Hom coconut crop thrives has not been well researched in the past.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fd1d791 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fd1d791\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Mapping to Reduce Risk<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6362935 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6362935\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe coconut water brand partnered with the USAID Green Invest Asia program to identify conditions that contribute to a successful coconut crop in Thailand and where those conditions reliably occur. \n\nFirst, we excluded places of high ecological value, like conservation areas and primary forest.
